This electrical code course is fully approved for EL licenses from the OCILB, BBS and ICC.  Webinar hours are equivalent to in-person. This course is designed for electrical contractors and inspectors.

This course covers the major points of transformer theory, including understanding the components and workings of a transformer. Students will learn about magnetic induction and turns ratio. The course also explores the reasons for choosing transformers over other voltage modifiers, such as available and needed voltage, as well as primary and secondary isolation. Installation locations, including floors, overhead settings, and building voids, will be discussed.

This is a live instructor-led video class. The course will consist of several 50-minute sessions with 10-minute breaks in between and a 40-minute lunch break.
